Pastors. Pastor Vladimir Piguzov

Calling to serve

Up to 1992 sins had been flourishing in my life extensively penetrating into all its spheres. Two higher educations nourished my pride, I was virtually absorbed in sins considering such a life decent and wholesome. As a result I got divorced, came down with a serious neurogenic disease and was about to die. God made me stop in that state and gradually started healing and purifying me. In 2004 (in twelve years) I was made responsible for the small group of believers of our church who had got through a great moral distress because of the previous leader of this cell-group. This ministry changed me even more. My love for people started growing strong. God gave me dramatic sensations, joy of spiritual victories, strengthened my faith and understanding that I should serve Him by means of serving people. The basis of my spiritual life became prayers and reading of the Word of God.

It’s difficult for me to call my pastor ministry of today as appeal of God to serve. I’d rather call it a complicated life-long educational process. God made me more responsible for the gifts He gave me with the help of my faithful and loving brothers.

My vision of ministries

1. The praying church

  • Helping each member of the church acquire skills and habits of the life in prayer and contemplation about the Personality of God; service of intercession
  • Creating the consolidated base and centre of requests for prayers in the area and church
  • Forming the set of prayer cells consisting of 2 or 3 people close to each other in a different way (friends, relatives or neighbours)

2. Cell–groups

  • Creating new cell-groups, improving the quality of their service for practical teaching of gospel principles in lives of all believers. The Bible should become the practical manual of people’s lives.

3. Caring for well-being of cell-group leaders and the leaders of other ministries. Consolidating them.

4. Pastors’ supervision of each member of the church
